What is a
Postpartum Doula?
A Circle Birth postpartum doula in Texas is a highly skilled professional dedicated to supporting families during the critical early weeks and months after birth. Their expertise extends beyond newborn care to include assistance with feeding, soothing techniques, light household tasks, and meal preparation. Postpartum doulas also play an essential role in a mother’s recovery, fostering a strong bond between parents and baby, and helping the whole family adjust to life with a newborn.
While many are familiar with the role of a birth doula, the postpartum doula’s role is often less understood. At Circle Birth, our certified postpartum doulas offer continuous guidance and personalized care throughout the fourth trimester. Their responsibilities range from providing practical, hands-on assistance to offering emotional support, helping families navigate this transitional period with confidence.
In Texas, Circle Birth postpartum doulas visit homes regularly and even offer overnight care, giving parents the opportunity to rest while knowing their baby is in capable hands. Whether it’s answering questions, helping with daily routines, or preparing meals, our postpartum doulas provide compassionate, expert support when families need it the most.

Payment & Insurance
We accept HSA/FSA cards, major credit and debit cards, and widely used digital payment methods.
Some families choose to seek reimbursement for doula services through insurance or employer-sponsored family benefit programs. Eligibility and reimbursement depend entirely on the specific plan and employer.
Families we support have explored reimbursement through programs such as Maven, Carrot, Progyny, and similar employer-sponsored or insurance-based plans. We do not bill insurance or benefit programs directly. We provide clear, non-clinical service documentation to support reimbursement requests when applicable.
Examples of employer-sponsored benefit programs and insurance providers families may explore for reimbursement.
