Doula Care - At a Glance

What does your $1970 investment include?

Experts in Hospital Births: Whether it’s your first baby or your fifth, planned cesarean or spontaneous labor - we know hospitals, and we know how to support you inside them.

We Work With Your Medical Team: We don’t replace your provider - we collaborate, advocate, and help you feel informed and heard throughout your birth. We also work closely with your nurses to support clear communication, reduce stress, and make sure you feel genuinely cared for from admission to recovery.

Certified & Continuously Trained: Our doulas are certified, experienced, and always learning. We stay current so you feel confident.

Backup Doulas Always Ready: Life happens -but we plan for it. Every client is covered by a reliable, trusted backup doula.

Hands-On Birth Support: During labor, we’re by your side with continuous, practical care - helping with positioning, breathing techniques, massage, TENS unit use, and emotional grounding. We help explain medical terminology, clarify procedures, and walk you through the pros and cons of decisions as they arise, so you feel calm and in control.

Nationally Recognized Certification: You’re working with professionals who meet all state standards and operate with integrity.

We Get to Know You: Your doula will provide two prenatal visits to explore your birth preferences, answer questions, and prepare you for labor. She will be available throughout your pregnancy for ongoing questions or concerns. After your baby arrives, your doula will return to your home for a postpartum visit to check in on your healing, answer newborn care questions, and help your family adjust to this life-changing transition. She will also be able to offer guidance and resources to help your pets adjust to life with a new baby.

Support for Partners, Too: We guide and empower your partner to show up with confidence in the delivery room. Your doula will help them be an active participant in the labor process - how and when to step in with comfort, support, and reassurance. We make sure partners understand how they can be useful and beneficial to their growing family. If labor is long, we ensure they get the rest they need. If things don’t go as planned, we’re there with emotional support to help steady the experience and help Dad be present for his wife and child.

Cesarean Birth Support: If a cesarean becomes necessary during labor, your doula is here to support you every step of the way. She will help you and your partner prepare mentally and emotionally for surgery, explain what to expect, and, if permitted by your provider and hospital, offer in-person support before, during, and after surgery. Even in surgical birth, your doula remains a steady presence to help ease anxiety, provide comfort, and ensure your voice is heard.

Scheduled C-section: Sometimes, circumstances make cesarean delivery the safest option for mom and baby. For example, if your baby is breech. If you’re having a scheduled C-section, your investment still brings tremendous value. You can choose to apply part of your doula package to a fully awake 8-hour overnight postpartum shift - either in the hospital or once you’ve returned home. This hands-on support helps ease your recovery, assists with newborn care, and ensures you have a knowledgeable, caring presence during the early days of healing and adjustment.

We Support All Kinds of Stories: No two births are the same - and we’re ready for yours. Our doulas are experienced in supporting families through a wide range of circumstances with steady, skilled, and compassionate care.

Specialized Support Includes: VBAC, IVF, Preterm and Premature Birth, Advanced maternal age, Cerclage, Late-term loss, Anxiety disorders, PTSD, Eating disorders, Preeclampsia, Medically complex births, Bleeding disorders, Depression, Autism and ADHD, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Expecting a medically complex baby or planned NICU stay, and more. If your journey doesn’t follow the typical path, we’re still here to walk it with you - supporting your emotional well-being and advocating for the birth experience you deserve.

Unmedicated or Epidural: Most parents have a general idea of how they want to manage pain during labor. Some are certain they want an epidural and are looking for guidance on when to get it and how to keep labor progressing once it’s in place. Others hope to avoid an epidural and labor unmedicated, but still want the flexibility to change their mind. Your doula supports both paths, offering encouragement, education, and non-judgmental care, regardless of your choice during your labor journey.

Transparent Pricing: The birth doula care package is a flat fee of $1,970. Regardless of how long your labor is or how complex your pregnancy becomes, there are no hidden fees or additional charges.  If you require something more affordable, student doulas are often available, offering the same dedication with additional support from our team.

Using Insurance Benefits: Insurance coverage can be confusing, but you're not alone! Many families utilize HSA/FSA accounts, Carrot Fertility,  UnitedHealthcare, or Blue Cross Blue Shield to help cover the cost of care. We also work with other insurance providers as more and more carriers decide to cover doulas every month! Our Business Administrator is available to guide you through the reimbursement process and can provide statements specifically prepared for insurance submission.

Payment Plans Available: A $970 deposit secures your doula, with the remaining $1,000 due after your second prenatal visit. For families who require more flexibility, we also offer payment options through Affirm and Klarna, enabling you to break down the cost into smaller, more manageable monthly payments that fit your budget.
